Guidance for Technical Presenters and Poster Authors
Registration
- Please register if you have not already done so.
- The registration form asks for a presentation title that will serve as a placeholder on the agenda. This does not have to be the final title. The final title will be submitted along with your presentation/poster.
Technical Presentations
- Presentations are due Friday, July 25 for preliminary review and can be uploaded here.
- Please upload your presentation as a .pptx file. The ratio of the dimensions of the PowerPoint should be 16:9. This is the standard .pptx ratio.
- Please use this naming convention for your file:
PresentationID#_LastName_FirstName_SessionTopic
(Your session lead has your Presentation ID #) - Please include the presentation ID#, title, author(s), organization(s), and presentation ID# on the first slide.
- Contact your session lead if you have not received a presentation ID#.
- All presentations will be posted online as .pdfs. Please follow any review and approval processes that exist for your organization.
- You will receive feedback on your presentation by Wednesday, July 30. You must address the feedback and resubmit your presentation by Thursday, July 31 using the same naming convention.
- Corrections based on feedback are NOT OPTIONAL. Failure to comply with requested edits will result in loss of the opportunity to present material at Peer Review.
- Presentations will be posted to the website after completing a DOE review, which will take a couple weeks.
- NOTE: By submitting a presentation/poster, I understand that Sandia may post it on this Peer Review website. I understand that this website is open to the public and my presentation/poster may be viewed by anyone.
- Each presenter will have a 15-minute time slot and a 10-minute Q&A will be at the end of each session.
Posters
- Posters will be due on Friday, July 25 for preliminary review and can be uploaded here.

- Sandia will send all posters received to print on Friday, August 1 and have them delivered to the venue.
- After this deadline, you are still required to submit your poster after acknowledging that you are responsible for the printing and transportation of your poster.
- If you miss the deadline and intend on printing your own poster, please:

2. Email us at snl_energy_storage@sandia.gov with your name and poster title

- After this deadline, you are still required to submit your poster after acknowledging that you are responsible for the printing and transportation of your poster.
- Please upload your final poster as a *.pdf file.
- Posters should be in a vertical format (dimensions: 36″ x 48″)
- Please use this naming convention for your file:
LastName_FirstName_SessionTopic
- Sandia will send all posters received to print on Friday, August 1 and have them delivered to the venue.
- There is no limit on the number of posters per topic.
- Peer Reviewers will be evaluating posters based on the questions found here, with the exception of Demonstration Projects presentations, that will be evaluated based on these questions.
- If you intend to keep your poster after the conference, you will be responsible for the removal and transportation of the poster. Posters will be taken down and disposed of Thursday afternoon.
